When your camping season arrives, no matter what time of the year that is, you’ll need to find a favorite campground to help improve your traveling experience. Don’t have a favorite yet? Looking to change things up this year? Check out the campgrounds we love below!

West Texas Friendly RV Park South

For a classic, family-friendly experience, head to West Texas Friendly RV Park, near Big Spring, or you can head a little farther north to their newer location. All sites are big rig friendly, so you can bring whatever travel trailer you’re working with and know they’re going to have a spot for you. Ask about covered spots and enjoy the private patios on each site. They offer great security and lighting and simply a quiet, calm place to help you relax and get away from it all. You won’t be far from a grocery store and more residential area for when you need to make an emergency trip into town, and there’s even a VA hospital nearby to serve all our veterans.

Horseshoe Lodges

Traveling to Midland, west on I-20, you’ll reach Horseshoe Lodges, a relaxed and comfortable campground that not only includes spaces for travel trailers, but also offers lodges in case you have non-RVing friends and family who want to join you. You’ll be able to enjoy free wireless internet and cable, free continental breakfast, and even a pool table. You also won’t be far from Midland for some big city entertainment, including the George Bush Childhood Home Museum and yummy eateries.

You’re probably ready to hit the road, but first you’re going to need the travel trailer to get you there. RV Land carries a variety of travel trailers for sale. See our selection online or at our dealership in Kyle, Texas. We also serve those in Austin and San Antonio, Texas.
